Longtime Oakland resident Amanda Brunato has loved exploring (and improving!) houses since she was big enough to push her parents’ furniture around the living room. After pioneering a successful home-energy efficiency business with her husband, she turned her attention full-time to real estate.
Amanda listens with care to what you want, and stands by you as an effective advocate when it comes time for action. Her years in the construction industry left her with a keen understanding of residential value, which she uses to counsel her clients to make savvy decisions and stay true to their goals. With her extensive background in green construction and building science, she brings a wealth of information to the conscientious buyer. For the seller, she offers smart marketing advice and is a worthy guide in adding value to the home.
Steadfast community involvement – and relationships built on trust and integrity – have made Amanda a vital presence in the East Bay. She is a member of the Climate Action Committee for Oakland/Berkeley Association of Realtors, and recently underwent training for the special Green Designation by the National Association of Realtors.
When she’s not selling houses or working to protect the earth, Amanda volunteers at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, makes a mean sauerkraut, and hikes the lovely East Bay terrain with her family. She lives in Oakland with her husband, two daughters, and a very small dog who is exceptionally fond of peanut butter.
