Howard joined the Montclair office as a licensed agent in 1987, when it was part of the original parent company of Mason-McDuffie Real Estate. He has been with the organization throughout the recent history of national corporate affiliations, providing highly focused and committed service to home buyers and sellers, as well as investors, at all economic levels of real estate activity.
A broad range of previous experience gives Howard the ability to analyze different real estate situations and provide his clients with a deeper understanding of the real estate market they will be facing. His early training in landscape architecture gives him an appreciation of the site conditions of a property. A Peace Corps assignment in South America provided hands-on community development experience and cultural awareness, in addition to sharpening his Spanish language skills. After earning a graduate degree in City Planning, Howard worked in diverse planning activities; including assistance to the Navajo Indian Tribe, the initiation of large scale urban redevelopment projects and urban economic policy programs.
A broker associate since 1994, Howard continues, through Highland Partners, to provide a very high level of personal dedication and professional services to the needs of his diverse clients in a wide range of the East Bay real estate market.
